Emerquency Chlorine Scrubber

Wet scrubbing technology is an effective solution for treating chlorine in exhaust gas. In this process, the gas stream comes into direct contact with an absorbent or alkaline solution, which neutralizes and removes chlorine along with other harmful components. Depending on the characteristics of the exhaust gas, the scrubbing solution is adjusted accordingly to achieve high treatment efficiency.

The treated gas complies with the National Technical Regulation QCVN 19:2024/BTNMT before being released into the environment.

Chlorine Gas Treatment Methods

1

Absorption with water

Chlorine dissolves in water and forms hydrochloric acid (HCl).

2

Absorption with alkaline solution

Using alkaline solutions such as NaOH, KOH, or lime slurry (Ca(OH)₂) to neutralize and remove chlorine.

Outstanding Advantages

High efficiency: Effectively removes chlorine gas and other harmful contaminants.

Environmental safety: Treated gas meets QCVN 19:2024/BTNMT before being released into the environment.

Flexibility: Applicable with various absorbent solutions (NaOH, KOH, Ca(OH)₂) depending on exhaust gas characteristics.

Cost-effectiveness: Simple operation, easily available chemicals, suitable for different production scales.

Reliability: Proven technology widely applied across multiple industries.
